Safety first
We know this journey can feel overwhelming. We're here to help you keep yourself and your future child safe, every step of the way.
Use a donor you trust
By making a purchase on this site, you testify that your donor is a directed donor — someone you personally know and trust. We do not endorse or support working with a donor met through apps, classified ads, or online forums.
Confirm full STI testing
Hatcherly does not prevent the transmission of disease. Your donor should have recent, comprehensive STI testing — including HIV, hepatitis B & C, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and CMV — before each donation cycle.
Consult a medical professional
Speak with your midwife, nurse practitioner, or doctor before beginning. They can advise on timing, health considerations, and what to expect.
Put agreements in writing
A written donor agreement — ideally reviewed by a family-law attorney in your state — helps clarify parental rights, financial expectations, and future contact for everyone involved.
If something feels wrong, pause
You can always stop, ask questions, or get a second opinion. There is no rush that's worth your safety. Take care of yourself.
Liability
Hatcherly is not held liable for any infections, lost items, or anything of the sort when it comes to conception or trying to conceive. By using our service, you accept full responsibility for your decisions and your relationship with your donor.
